MAKERSPACE CREATIVE HUB
The Four Corners library is home to the new Makerspace Creative Hub. The technology environment offers Vex Robotics, Lego robotics, architecture and 3d printing. Working in collaboration with Sheridan College, Cimetrix, SEA, b… Creative and the City Brampton, allows youth in the community to learn and interact with physical and technical components of the 21st century and what is has to offer in the advancement of technology. On September 27, 2014, Team 356 put on a show case at the creative hub, displaying their hard work and efforts. This opportunity allows the team to educate the community and its growing youth population about what Vex Robotics has to offer and hopefully expand the Vex community with more future teams. During the showcase, the team demonstrates its current progress with their new Skyrise robots as well as their fully functioning Toss Up robot that went to the Vex Robotics World Championships. By showcasing their robots, it allows the community to be more interactive, and ask questions about designing, building, programming, and drive a robot.
